Hosting a tour provides the best experience for classrooms, allowing teachers to run their own tour and enable students to compete against their classmates as they explore the technology and careers of the future. Choose either a tour for primary or secondary students. Each tour has 2 ways to watch: A full tour (45 - 60 min) or split in half to tour over multiple days (25 - 30 min each day).

For solo learners or classrooms without 1:1 devices, utilise our single-player tours. Use and share the links below to access these tours. Students can move through the Kahoot! at their own pace and compete against previous players. Teachers can also use these tours to project on the screen if they do not have student devices
Our Teacher Toolkit provides educators with a facilitation guide, student worksheets, and extension activities, all aligned to the UK national curriculum. Use these materials to discover all of the possibilities with computer science learning and to set students up for success, before, and after the tour

What will my class see on the tour?

Our primary Kahoot! version (ages 6+) focuses on how hardware, software, and people work together to form a delivery system to safely get customers their orders.

The secondary Kahoot! tour (ages 11+) dives deeper on the computer science, robotics and machine learning involved in Amazon’s fulfilment process. See the Teacher Toolkitto learn more.

How long is the tour?

A full tour (45 - 60 min) or split in half to tour over multiple days (25 - 30 min each day).

What ages can attend?

All students aged 6+ can attend! The tours include content accessible for each year group and teachers to can use the teacher toolkit to adjust learning how they see fit.

The Primary Kahoot! is great for ages 6+, and the Secondary Kahoot! is great for ages 11+

What computer science topics will be covered on the tour?

The following computer science topics will be introduced and explained in real-life context during the tour: algorithm, cloud computing, sensor, efficiency, database, quality control, machine learning, hardware, and software. See the Teacher Toolkit to learn more.

Can I just share my screen to my remote learners?

Yes!

The Kahoot! tours are best played by projecting the tour in a classroom with students connecting via their own devices. You may also choose to assign the Kahoot! to students individually or project the Kahoot! and work through it together as a class.

How much does this cost?

The tour, and all materials included in the accompanying Teacher Toolkit, are provided to teachers at no cost.

Can individual students sign up by themselves, independent of a class?

Yes, absolutely. Students may play independently on Kahoot! by visiting the Primary Kahoot! or the Secondary Kahoot!
